A Message from the Founder
Hi, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit more about me and my company. I’m Matt Rusin, Founder of Levitate Web Design. Let me start out by giving a little background on me and how I got to where I am today:
I grew up in a small town in Michigan and learned how to create websites rather precociously. After graduating high school in 2001, I moved to Chicago, IL and started designing websites for local businesses. I’ve had the pleasure of working with hundreds of small business owners since then and my skills continue to grow with each new project.
Each business that I’ve worked with over the past 12 years has been a unique experience that has molded my understanding of what an online business presence should be. Not only have I been lucky enough to work on so many great projects of the years, I’ve also been able to see the Internet grow from the inside out. This has enabled me to predict the direction these technologies are moving in and better position myself and the businesses that I work with to continue to be successful.
In October of 2007 I moved to Austin, TX and have been working full time as a freelance web designer ever since. It was not until the very end of 2009 that I finally decided to team up with Photographer and Graphic Designer Kelly Wendt and turn my web design
Levitate Web Design now has over 100 clients worldwide and is steadily growing. freelancing work into a full service Web Design and Marketing Business. Kelly has over 10 years in customer relations and operations. As well as over 7 years experience in photography, graphic design, and marketing.
My partner, Kelly Wendt, and I, work one on one with each client to discuss the specific needs of the project. Through our experience successfully marketing hundreds of small business online we can help you maximize your online exposure and return on investment.
With so many “do-it-yourself” website scams and huge corporations trying to sell you junk websites made from templates, small businesses are having a harder and harder time competing online.
